Deborah, I didn't even consider seeing the movie because I have a problem with the book. And not just that book. Now that my grandson is taking me back through all the stuff I read to my daughter, I'm finding much of it cloying or creepy. "Babar" seems as ponderous as an elephant. "Rumpus" is a word never uttered by a little boy. And who is that old lady who sits up all night in a pitch-dark room saying "Hush?"
